When you join BOXR™ Mill Hill, you’re not just a number, you are provided with the guidance, accountability, and motivation from coaches who know how to get real, lasting results.
COMMON QUESTIONS
What am I committing to when I sign up?
We want to give you the best possible experience when you join and set the foundations for your fitness and health journey going forward whilst making you feel exactly like a full time member. To get you off to the perfect start, see where you’re at, and discuss any specific goals or concerns, we’ll give you a personalised 1-to-1 induction with our Head Coach to ensure you have the best foundations possible for success over the coming 6-weeks.
This includes a movement screening and a discussion on nutritional/ recovery and all matters outside of the gym. It will also give us an opportunity to get to know you and help you get the most out of your training prior to jumping into your first session.
You can then look forward to 12x SGPT sessions, up to 12x fitness classes, a warm welcome to the BOXR and our fitness community.
What if I am a complete beginner?
Perfect for us! We absolutely love being able to support and welcome new members into our community, no matter what level or experience you have. You may have not been keen on sports at school, or maybe you’ve taken up fitness later in life?
We’re firm believers that “age ain’t nothing but a number”, and we’re here to support your journey.
What if I have aches, pains or injuries?
No problem. Many of our members come to us with injuries or life-related issues like joint niggles, back pain and post-baby abs. We’re not physiotherapists, but the team is highly experienced in creating programmes that work with, and ultimately improve, a wide range of conditions.
Do I have to be fit?
No. Our members vary in age and fitness level. Yes, you’ll see some super-fit people here, but they all started somewhere. Your fitness goal is unique to you. We’ll assess your current level, personalise your programme and take it at a pace that works for you.
How long are the sessions?
Our Small-Group Personal Training sessions (SGPT) are 50 minutes, and our group classes are 45 minutes. Simple, yet effective doses of training.
We hold ourselves accountable to delivering within those times, as we know how important it is for you to manage your schedules around the gym.
What if I need to miss days during the six-week foundation program?
Don’t worry. If something comes up that causes you to miss a few days, let us know and we'll happily extend the trial period.
What happens after the six-week foundation program?
After successfully completing your 6-week foundation programme, you’ll have the opportunity to continue your new found momentum and motivation, and become a fully-fledged member of the BOXR community.
